The marathon course will be divided into 7 sections, each featuring another music genre: club music, rock, jazz, folk, pop and various world music. Additional cheering points will be organized by local schools and companies.

DOZ Marathon Lodz 2017 is going to be the Loudest Marathon in Poland. Along the race course there will be 50 cheering points. A new artistic director of the event has also been announced and we are delighted to welcome Piotr Rogucki, the leader of COMA rock band, in our team.

The marathon course will be divided into 7 sections, each featuring another music genre: club music, rock, jazz, folk, pop and various world music. Additional cheering points will be organized by local schools and companies. And of course, we will have our multimedia and loud finish area in the Atlas Arena.

- I decided to run in the DOZ Marathon Lodz some time ago. I was born in Lodz, I live here and I am strongly bound up with this city. When the marathon organizers contacted me I was pretty surprised. I wouldn't think my theatrical and music experience might be helpful for them. And suddenly I am joining their team now and I have an opportunity to make the race more attractive to runners and help develop the local music stage at the same time – says Piotr Rogucki. - In return, I expect the bands to give me an extra boost on the race day. My goal is to break 4 hours and music always gives me additional energy – he laughs.

Registration for DOZ Marathon Lodz is still open on www.slotmarket.pl. By the end of January, lower entry fees are valid: 99 PLN for the marathon, 59 PLN for the 10k run.
